ADAM AND EVE

Satan's first words where "You may eat"
Laying temptation in the path of Eve's feet
He reassured her, "You will not surely die!"
The master of deception, continued in his lie.
It looked pleasing, soon Eve was mesmerized,
The serpent coaxed "It'll make you very wise."
Sin tasted pleasant, so she shared with her man.
The devil had tricked them with his scheming plan.
God's footsteps they heard in the cool of the day,
Amongest the trees of the garden, they made thier way.
Huddled togeather, concious of being naked and afraid,
They made their choice. Thier future was now made.
Then God questioned man "Did you eat of the tree?"
Man reported "The woman you made, she gave it to me!"
Turning to Eve God asked "What have you done?"
The serpent, he beguiled me. "she was shocked and stunned!
Back then and today, the moral of the story is two fold,
Lyin' don't get you out of trouble and you got to do as your told!! Amen
