Darci
She's the apple of her Daddy's eye
Our little girl so sweet
Especially born on the Fourth of July
She's made our lives complete
Blessed with the face of an angel
soft, pink rosebud cheeks
She's my precious, perfect granddaughter Oh, how I love to watch her sleep
She chose my new name; little Darci A name cherished above all others
"Meme," I'll be, throughout all time What a joy to be her grandmother
Protect her, dear Father, from all that might harm her She's a treasure far rarer than gold
Her Mommy's jewel; her Daddy's darling Our Darci, our baby, to hold
