LITTLE BUDDY
Those little arms that hug me, please don't tear them away;
the sweet little lips that kiss will say goodbye to me today.

He says, "Where is I going, Daddy? I want to stay with you."
His Daddy says, " Your Mommy loves you, too."

His precious little heart should not be torn apart;
How could I love him more?
"I wuv you, Meme," he says, as he goes out the door.

The tears are falling, I cannot speak, as I watch him walk away.
He turns and waves, but he must go, he has no choice, you see.
He's a little boy, he's very much loved, and he's only three.

About the author:
Dorothy Perkins lives in a small country village in central Maine. The little boy in this poem is her precious grandson.
When you hurt, God hurts with you. When no one listens to you, God listens to you. When you wipe away tears of loneliness or frustation or anguish, in heaven there's a pierced hand approaching a heavenly face wiping away a tear. Max Lucado-The Inspirational Study Bible
